Disney

For my 15^th birth day I made a trip to Disney with my cousin since both our birth days are a week apart. Of course we both went with our mothers. We were planning this trip for years and it finally came true. Even though many things happened that weren’t part of the plan. It all started at the airport, we arrived to the airport at 3:00 am, and I was very excited, and I thought that nothing could go wrong, until the lady that gave us our boarding pass, said that the plane had some difficulties and we would have to wait for another plain that arrived from France. Besides that I was still trying to see the bright side of the problem, I was still a happy girl. After hours of waiting for the day, I starving of hunger and I was very tired, and that’s not a good sing, since I become grumpy when I don’t sleep nor eat. The airlines gave us some free brake fast pass to eat at the airport. Finally the airplane arrived and we were ready to get on the plane, the good thing is that we were seated on the plane; the bad thing is that I got the worst seat ever the one right in front of the exit doors and in the middle of the plane. During the flight I was trying to sleep, but I couldn’t because right behind had a baby crying the whole time, in my right side I had two kids playing games and making a lot of noise, and to my right I had and old man and a fat women that argued for everything, and they stood to go to the bathroom 6 times. Finally the flight attendance announced that the plane was prepared to land. When we got out of the airport I was able to meet with my cousin, we were waiting for our car so we could go to Disney. The car included a GPS that was guiding us to the Disney Century Resort. After a while listening and following the GPS instructions, we got annoyed by her annoying voice, since the only things she said was “recalculating”. My mom thought that a GPS would be the best way to avoid getting lost, but she was wrong. We arrived to Orlando, but an unexpected thing happened, we were following the instructions when the GPS got us lost, it kept on saying turn left, but my mom couldn’t turn left because there was a huge pond next to us. Then when things couldn’t get worse, we stopped by a gas station but there were some hobos so my cousin started shouting that they were going to kill us, my mom didn’t think it twice and she stepped on the accelerator. It was mid night, and my mom decided to stop in a parking lot and called the Disney people and explain them that we were going to be a little late. At the parking lot there was a guard so with my mom we decided to go ask him for indications, but my cousin started shouting and saying that they were going to kill us. Since we were annoyed by her and her shouts, we stayed in the car. Until we found a taxi that was able to guide us to the Disney Century Resort. We finally made it, and after all what happened we started laughing about it. And that was my great 15^th birth day, a birth day that we will never forget. 

Japan

We’ve all heard about the disasters that occurred in Japan, the 8.2 Earthquake, the tsunami, and now the nuclear reactor. Even though the Japanese where ready for the earthquake, since they have over 5000 earthquakes per year, they weren’t ready for the tsunami neither the nuclear reactor failing. The tsunami destroyed houses and ended with millions of lives. Cars and boats are scattered everywhere, people are still missing, people where left out without homes, also many people lost their jobs and can’t afford to pay for another home or even take care of their families. The last thing that the Japanese needed was that one of the source of energy broke, and now it’s spreading nuclear power all around Japan, even other countries have been affected since the nuclear cloud has spread around the world, and has arrived to California and Mexico. 5o Japanese are working to stop this nuclear reactor to affect more people than it already is, they are getting their lives in risks to protect the whole world, even though that in the future they know that they have a bigger chance to get any type of disease. We all believe that the Japanese will come up with an idea to stop this disaster from occurring, since they are very smart and they have a very advanced technology.

Once again, mother earth had proved to us that she is still stronger than us, and that she can destroy everything in her way, also that we will never be able to defeat her. 

Skype

Skype is a great way to communicate with people around the world, friends and family. Ever since my brother graduated and move to Argentina to go to college, my mom and him are constantly communicating through Skype. With Skype you can have a video conference, or chat with the people that don't have a camera or a microphone. For me one of the best things of Skype is that you don’t have to pay to use it and talk to people all the time you want. Now you can download Skype in your self-phone and talk to friends at any time you want. Also Skype provides you to talk to more than one person at a time; you can invite friends to conversations and have video conferences with them. With Skype I’m able to talk to my best friend who lives in Europe and with my family who live in Argentina. In my opinion Skype made my social life simpler, I can talk and chat with friends that I couldn't talk to before, because calling them was too expensive, but with Skype I don’t have to worry about the minutes I have to pay for making an international call. Since my brother moved my parents have being talking with him through Skype every night to know if he is ok or if he needs something. Thats why I love Skype.

Art and Colors

I'm the type of girl who really likes drawing, and adding color to images, its fun combining colors to images. I'm not an expert at drawing people and animals, I rather drawing abstracted images and bubble letters like graffiti style. It isn't common for me to not draw, because I'm always drawing or trying to improve an old drawing I did before. Sometimes it’s hard for me to get inspired, because I try to be unique in the things a draw and try to sketch new things that haven't seen before. Maybe things I’ve seen before I try to put my touch and try to change it so it looks more like my style. I dedicate myself in wild style drawing and I try to not focus that much if it’s perfect and what colors should I combine so it looks pretty. 

Usually I get inspired while I'm drawing, normally I draw something simple and while I'm drawing I can see how I can improve it and what can I add to it so it has more detail. But I don't always get that inspired; sometimes it takes me more time to come up with a big idea that will make my drawing better and colorful. 

An advice for the people who like to draw is to don't try to copy someone's idea, because it won’t always work. Everyone has its own style, and with practice you can make it better.
